My name is Bill McNamee. I am the Founder and President of Integrated Desktop Solutions, Inc., ( www.webids.com ) a Baltimore area technology and digital media consulting firm. I have a diverse background with an academic career in anthropology and archeology and a professional career as an information technology and digital media professional.

I have been doing photography since my high school days and have always had a desire to work as a professional photographer. To that end, I developed Light Imaging Studios as a creative extension of Integrated Desktop Solutions, Inc.

Light Imaging Studios, however, is more than just another business. It is the realization of long held personal aspirations to create and publish creative works of art. Whether I am doing photography for personal interests or for a client’s project, I view all my photographic work as art and take great pride in producing a quality finished product. In other words... I love what I do and want it to show.

I started my photography adventure shooting with Canon 35mm SLRs and FD lenses. Over the years I continued shooting with Canon equipment and now use Canon Digital SLRs and EOS lenses. The Canon FD and EOS systems are both wonderful to work with, as is evidenced by the fact I still own and utilize most all the Canon equipment I ever purchased. Regardless of shooting film or digital, all my post production work is done in a digital darkroom consisting of Mac workstations, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Photoshop.

And...now that you are thoroughly bored from reading this bio...I hope you are still interested in viewing some of my images and exploring the rest of what this site has to offer. I also hope you will consider Light Imaging Studios for any photographic needs you might have. From wedding, portrait, event, corporate, and product photography to photo restoration and retouching, Light Imaging Studios is here to assist you with all your photographic needs.
